The Site Specific Performance Retreat will be led by Minako Seki and her students.
There’s a space between action and environment—where performance doesn’t just happen, it unfolds.
At Ko-Panqui, where nature meets structure, we invite seasoned movers to explore the language of dance, physical theatre and Butoh in relation to space.
This isn’t a stage—it’s a living dialogue with texture, tension, and terrain.
Through the Seki Method, we engage the body with presence, resistance, and poetic intent.
This is more than a workshop—it’s a festival of physical storytelling.

Location:
The “Site Specific Performance Retreat” will happen near Curarrehue, in the South of Chile, in Araucanía region.
The artistic residency that will welcome us is called Espacio Arte Ko-Panqui https://espacioartekopanqui.cl/ .
The landscape there is incredible, and will offer many diverse sceneries for your performances.

Transport:
From Santiago, Chile:
Option 1: Fly to Temuco, then take a transfer to Pucón, from Pucón take a bus to Curarrehue, and from Curarrehue take a taxi or Uber to Ko-Panqui (10 minutes).
Option 2: Take a direct sleeper bus from Santiago to Curarrehue (Buses Liquiñe Oro Verde). From Curarrehue, take a taxi or Uber to Ko-Panqui.
Prices:
With accommodation (7 days workshops + accommodation in shared suites + food) : CL$ 250.000
Without accommodation (7 days workshops + food): CL$ 200.000
Independent option to sleep in your tent on the domain: CL$ 5.000 diarios por persona .

Our students are professional performers, and are now finishing the Stage 3 of the Seki Method Teacher Training. They will facilitate the Seki Method workshops under the supervision of Minako Seki.
On the last day, the participants and the teachers will present their performances.

El Retiro de Performance Site Specific será dirigido por Minako Seki junto a sus estudiantes.
Existe un espacio entre la acción y el entorno—donde la performance no solo ocurre, sino que se despliega.
En Ko-Panqui, donde la naturaleza se encuentra con la estructura, invitamos a intérpretes con experiencia en movimiento a explorar el lenguaje de la danza, el teatro físico y el Butoh en relación con el espacio.
Esto no es un escenario: es un diálogo vivo con la textura, la tensión y el terreno.
A través del Método Seki, involucramos el cuerpo desde la presencia, la resistencia y la intención poética.
Esto es más que un taller: es un festival de narración corporal.
Ven a dar forma al espacio—y deja que el espacio te transforme.

El Retiro de Performance Site Specific se realizará cerca de Curarrehue, en el sur de Chile, en la Región de La Araucanía.

Desde Santiago de Chile:
Opción 1:
Vuelo a Temuco, luego traslado a Pucón. Desde Pucón, bus a Curarrehue y desde ahí taxi o Uber hasta Ko-Panqui (10 minutos).
Opción 2:
Bus cama directo desde Santiago a Curarrehue (Buses Liquiñe Oro Verde).
Desde Curarrehue, taxi o Uber hasta Ko-Panqui.
